One of the buildings of South Africa’s parliament was collapsed on Sunday after a massive blaze continued to rage even after eight hours. The incident took place during the wee hours on Sunday in the National Assembly building, later it spread to the newer parts of the building, where members of the house sit. No causalities have been found in the incident so far.

The National Assembly, which is the lower house of the parliament, is also known for its historical building in Cape Town.
The old building has a collection of historical books and rare papers related to South Africa’s history and culture.
According to reports, the building, which is in existence since 1884, has been completely damaged.
While President Cyril Ramaphosa said that the investigation has been launched and a man has been arrested in the incident.
