Facebook’s parent company META has announced what it calls the fastest and the most developed artificial intelligence supercomputer running in the world. The super machine is expected to help lay the base for the building of metaverse. The project is expected to be complete in the middle of the year. Meta did not disclose the total cost of building the supercomputer in the announcement.

The technically powerful supercomputer will be capable of solving complex calculations that are not possible with regular home computers as it relies on the performance of graphics-processing chips. The computer will reinforce the artificial intelligence that supports the internet.
The location of the computer is also kept a secret by the company. The supercomputer will be running with “deep learning” algorithms that are capable of understanding the structure of an image, analyzing the given text, and can translate between languages swiftly.
