Former PM Najib Razak called out to Penang DAP for claiming that he had hindered three development projects in the state. In a Facebook post, Najib told Penang DAP to ask this question to his “Abah.” He was referring to Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin who had adopted while he was prime minister. Najib said he wasn’t involved and nor was the BN government.

Najib further asked his critics to question DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng over the delay in the Penang airport expansion project. This comes after Penang DAP claimed that Najib and BN were involved in the cancellation of an RM2 billion loan application for an LRT project in Penang.
He also accused Najib and BN for the cancellation of the proposed RM100 million cable car project for Penang Hill. Najib claimed that it was him who had giv en green light to the airport expansion project.
He said Lim should be the one to be questioned for the airport expansion project as he was chief minister of Penang at the time. “You delay the project to get cronies on board then blame BN,” he added.
